I love the carbon ones but i want strength

 

titanium is 60 percent heavier than aluminium but twice as strong. Its not hard to sharpen just needs a different tool.

 

I really love the idea of titanium but they dont look as comfy.

carbon is plenty strong!

 

That's for certain.

 

Any set of spurs can be either comfortable or ungodly painful, depending on the pads.

 

I've been very happy with my aluminum Bashlins with caddy pads...might be a USA thing, those pads.

Bashlins with velcro pads are the best, for me at least. had the gekos (alloy not carbon) and found them comfy but couldnt stand the gaff that was supplied. kept popping out due to the shape....

those carbon ones are wickedly light they weren't out when i got the original gecko's. i can't see why they'd be weak, if they weren't built for the job then they wouldn't have been built.

changed the gaffs on my gecko's, now there the best thing since the invention of the condom.

looking forward to trying out blues carbon geckos when i get the chance ............found kliens with pole gaffs the most comfy ive used untill pikies stole my climbing kit with them in..........now ive got bashlins wich i dont really get on with but do the job owned far worse...honey bros specials .nasty!
