For the love of God this isn't about wearing of helmets!

No but when she posted a picture of herself in some ppe ( climbing hat ) several people fell about posting little laughing faces with thumbs up replies and i just thought we were all back in the playground . I like a laugh and don't mind having the piss taken out of me or amongst your selves but when its a new person with a genuine question I kinda thought it was bad form . I will get my head down now .....

It's kind of like when you go out on the pish, some people have self control, know when to stop drinking and are aware of their surroundings and control their language and behaviour to suit.

Some people are nice people but change after a few pints are quite funny but not offensive.

Some people have no self control or respect for others and their enjoyment of the space or environment they occupy and need reminding every now and again

Then there's absolute helmets that drunk or sober, have no self control or have had an up bringing that has taught them nothing more than how to be a Pratt and no amount of reminders will make a difference, they just need banning or taking to the vets

I think that there should be a clear difference between the usual banter between regulars and the way the forum members treat newcomers who are genuinely searching for answers to their questions. In the current atmosphere of truth and reconciliation, if my posts have actually offended then I apologise.

YOU SHOULD APOLOGISE because you havent let the monkey out the cupboard yet ha ha:thumbup1::thumbup1::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Whats disappointing is that John has made the effort to steer the forum on course and still some people have to try and create issues. Frankly I'm finding it hard to see what(if any) positive contribution certain members make to this site. Things are going to change.

I sincerely hope it does, and not an easy task!

(not suggesting I'm less than troublesome!)

Agreed but when you go out for a drink the small weedy ones with the big mouths wind their necks in when they see the size of you  I think that may be a problem with all forums as their is a lack of human interaction.
