Why thank you Shane and the rest of you for the praise. I did my good deed for the day. Mr Toad was grateful too I hope. I did wonder if any of his family went through or not before I noticed him though.......

Ross.

They couldn't possibly have, and thats that!

Now get back to your running practice.

The French I know have a rabid hatred for snakes so it was no surprise when yesterday I caught my associate trying to push a slow worm twisted around a stick through the Quadchip!:sneaky2:

I grabbed smacked the stop bar and snatched the beastie away.

The client was watching and 'he' ran away when I approached him with it, the client would have been quite happy to see it chipped so I reached through the hedge and placed the wee fella on next doors compost heap.

find a few grass snakes and slow worms when strimming. pick them up and put out of harms way. along with toads.

I have hit one or two slow worms with the mower at home over the years and it always upsets me.

You'd think they'd move when they feel the vibrations of the mower but they just seem to lie doggo. When the grass is long, which they like, you just can't see them until it's too late.
