ive a couple of weeks work , not a bad earner, id have the saw out of it, i can mess around with cutting from both sides, just wondering is the 880 a really impressive saw with the bar buried??

 

HI MATE i think your better off the the 660 you have there a good saw it will save you £1100 as well to but if you have say 10/12 very large beech/oak then get a 880 as there very good saw thanks jon :thumbup:

The poor AVs were rattling Johnys dentures too much.

 

Ah, poor bloke, Tbf the non-AV handles were bad, but I fitted it with the newest AV handles, bit of a bodge, but now it's only slightly worse than my 385xp

easy lads! each to there own! i was thinkin the 880 asi rather not over work the 660 plus i know if i had an 880 with a massive bar it would get me more work by itself...

HI MATE if you think you get more work from a 880 get one on a 4ft bar justin will see you all right on a price thanks jon :thumbup:

Well, if you want an 880, buy one, I wanted a BIG saw, so I got one, you are the only person who can make the choice, and by the sounds, your getting an 880, none of our business :) a 660 will do it on a bigger bar, it won't hurt the saw, but an 880 will do it better
