I think there's a fair bit wrong with wearing the skin of a wild animal for fashion.

Daniel.

I can see your point but, what about what you are actually wearing right now Daniel - i bet it involved sweatshops, high transportation miles, persistent chemicals....or nice warm environmentally friendly fur!!!!

Unfortunately the world we live in doesn't favour sustainability and that's true of clothing also. If it was reasonable to source environmentally friendly clothing I'd be all for it but I'm only a trainee Arb at the end of the day.

I don't have any issues with man using animals to suit his needs as long as they're relative but I think that any wild animal losing it's life so a wealthy woman can wear it is a tad to to far.

Daniel.

You don't get rid of coypu, they always come back, you can only clear 'em out for a bit. A bit like mink, squirrels etc. they're now part of the native fauna. Just gotta get on with it. All the stuff about wiping them out is just tub thumping.

I ONLY BROUGHT COYPU INTO THE SUBJECT AS IT WAS AS I THOUGHT INTRODUCED FOR ITS FUR AND MEAT LIKE THE MINK ETC HERES A SNIP FROM WIKKI

Coypu meat is lean and low in cholesterol. While many attempts have been made to establish markets for coypu meat, all documented cases have generally been unsuccessful. Unscrupulous entrepreneurs have promoted coypu and coypu farms for their value as "meat", "fur",
