Suggestions for reliable estate car

Skoda Octavia , go well , great on fuel and no major problems . My wife bought a 1.9 TD new in 2005 and it's done 160k trouble free .

I've got a mondeo st diesel 155bhp loads power. Very good car full spec leather cruis control etc. I paid 3100 with 98 thousand on clock

I had a 407 for five years. Whilst it was a good car, comfortable, economical and reasonably rapid, it was always beeping at me! Each beep cost £30 plus the part and fitting. I couldn't simply drive it for say a month or two without some electronic fault. My parents have similar problems with their 407 pug too having moved up from a bullet proof 405 with 220,000 miles!

I bought a small Skoda estate for a 'family' car but rarely see it as children have it far more than me...I will probably keep with this marque and avoid Peugeot in the future.

I have to ask if they have checked the engine recently as it seems to be reliable.

I have a hyuandi that is absolute junk but its so good it wont die.2.0d elantra is a vast wagon.....cheap fast and relialble.I hate the +++++++++ thing.even tho it does 50mpg allday.

Audi A4 - More refined and better handling than the Skoda and about the same economy too. Although if economy isn't an issue I'd be getting another Subaru legacy, probably the 2.5l GT version.

Ive had audi a4,seat leon toyota,mitsubish and subaru....all over priced.

 

The diesel hyuandi i have is better on all counts and cost 1500quid for an 05 plate with all the toys and leather...thats cheap

over priced,my hyuandi has 140kmiles on it and is as good if not better than any highmile audi or vw.parts are half the price too....
