Hi, i know its a bit late in the year but i need a couple of litres of asulux or brack-n to finish off an area in my woods.If anyone has an opened container they want shifted and can give me a price, PM please.

 

it might be difficult for members to reply to that question in a public forum, you could accidentally put you phone number....

It is really annoying that they have withdrawn it, are there any useful substitutes anyone

There is still the opportunity to use it next year under the emergency authorisation

This is true except you have to dispose of any excess product you have in stock by 31st October 2013. This is turning into a nice little earner for the suppliers and disposal companies. I hope other herbicides don't start following this route.

 

The scheme I quoted is for next year, the 2013 season has finished.

 

The point is one should not hold, mix or use more pesticide than required so disposal should not become a problem.

 

It's just the same with empty containers, they get very expensive to dispose but if they have been triple rinsed in the field they can be put in ordinary commercial waste.

Check out the bracken control news group website, you will find all the information on there. A bit late in the year now to spray bracken, I would brush cut it now. I only cut and bruise bracken now I have never liked spraying asulox, its a chemical and I don't trust chemicals.
