Anyone planted a tree in honour of there kids?

I'm not religious so didn't bother getting our child christened, I was good mates with the vicar at the time (he enjoyed the pub) so rather than a full christening we had a tree planting in the grave yard and a blessing.

She loves that tree. I'm glad it's so healthy as the previous ground contractors strimmed the out of it. Luckily a mate of mine mine has the contract now and looks after it

Now I was going to say something along those lines but thought it mite be insensitive, best get a strimmer guard round it

There's a flower bed going round it again!!!!! The last contractors were supposed to maintain it, but sadly not

We supplied and planted a snake bark maple next to a story telling chair at a school where 5 of my grandchildren go to

Me and my sister had trees planted when we were born. She got an oak. I got a nordman fir. It's nearly as tall as the house now!

I keep a pair of potted horse chestnuts going that my lad planted when he was 3; Andy's conkers!

I aquired a Rowan from the woods i was working in a couple of days after my son was born. I have had enough berries this year to make Rowan berry jelly.

And yes my son is called Rowan

planted this Hornbeam 17 1/2 years ago, 2 days before my twin Sons were born...they are both strapping lads now
