Avoiding the history and relevant democratic status of the members of the UNSC, and accepting that this is the system we have, and accepting that each of the 5 have differing agendas, just consider the number of people represented by Russia and China in comparison to the number of people represented by UK & USA.

 

To suggest 1 member might use the veto because they're feeling arsey is whimsical.

 

Perhaps, however using your own logic I do believe the likes of Russia and China do have and always will have their own desires and plans. The citizens of these Two countries never have and more than likely will never know any real freedom. For the most part the UN is all pretend:sneaky2:

No., but I believe I enjoy and appreciate more freedoms and liberties by being a citizen of the US. I always have to reference the sheer number of people willing to die and give up everything to escape their present lives and homes to live here. Not counting illegal aliens, that is another topic of discussion.

We (Great Britain) have always had a darker side as far as developing, testing and selling such nasties. In fact I may be wrong but I think we were the first to use them in warfare. I haven't googled this, just from memory, so may be a little off the mark.
