A mate of mine has a Warrior hydraulic winch on one of his tractors, he can't fault it in any way. Prefers it over his two Superwinches

What about the milemarker winch that takes the hydraulics from the power steering pump. Big weight saving and less complicated hydraulics.

I have a milemarker driven from a separate hydraulic pump (where the air con pump would be) it has been reliable, I can use it all day. The downside is that it is slow when it is in low ratio and low ratio is needed to pull anything heavy. It holds 20m of steel cable as standard and I use a separate 20m extension if I need more (this doesn't,t fit on the winding drum)
