Looking for a new latter for big hedges, can anyone recommend one?

 

Unsure about the 3 legged ladders, are they stable enough to wave a longreach about from them?

The Japanese type with the curved legs are the best . IMHO.

Make sure you get one with three adjustable legs. Very good ladders!

have one of the curved ones with big feet and i do not like ladders but i will go up to the platform and stand on it ok very stable even when ground is uneven. was not cheap but pay your money, see you are in hampshire more than welcome to try my one see how you get on with it just pm me will sort it out

I use a Titan re- form ladder have not found a hedge I could not reach. You need to be sure about safe work weight on them alley steps you are on about only got 100kg max load most Trade ladders/steps are 150kg.

We have 2 sets of 3 legged ones, revolutionised our hedgecutting! I think it is the medium and large set we have, very stable to work from, feels much better than a normal ladder.

Yes. No problem. More stable than normal ladder.

3 legged ladders are much more stable than 4 legged ones, plus you can get the third leg into all sorts of places a normal ladder wouldn't go.

We cut from a Henchman, one to cut, one to rake up and to help move the thing when arms are tired.

I'll order another smaller one soon when funds allow.

I think they are a little expensive and lack a certain finishing but superbly functional and make a huge difference to productivity and safety.
