Hi guys! been looking into the quality control of selling logs. When your processing logs flat out in the day its hard to control the so called bits i.e bark, thin bits, sawdust going up the elevator when you want to maximise outputs! So when I priced up tumblers from 6k - 7k its money that cant be justified in my eyes on separating trash. A salesman told me to get a second hand sugar beet cleaner as its been done by someone who he knows and costs around 1k! I have found a tidy machine but just wanted see if anyone on here has used them for logs??? or what they think??? pro's and cons etc... cheers :confused1:

If they are paying £200 a cube for snob logs then got to be done. If they are paying the average £100 a cube then wtf is going on with the world. You don't charge by weight and the bark is not taking up volume. I am sure normal people are prepared to collect a few bits in their dust pan when THEY have finished stacking.
