Very comfy and secure.

I love my carbons but u do need to think about where ur walking...tarmac/concrete/stoney paths need to be avoided!

 

Btw, i have the velcro top/buckled foot.

 

No complaints but it really is a "want" rather than a need. Difficult to justify the extra money over a regular steel or even ali but if u have the extra cash lying around...go for it. U will luv em.

I love my Geckos Iv got the Velcro top and leather bottoms they are super comfy and light. After i got my pair at college most of my group want them

I have the carbon ones for the last 6 years very comfy, I will be replacing the them with the Ali ones though, full Velcro as I find the Velcro bottom strap more comfortable than the leather buckle strap and allows you to adjust where your foot is placed.

Had the carbon (Velcro too and bottom) spikes for 5 years now. They are awesome and I will be replacing then soon for exactly the same Type.

In my humble opinion The levels of comfort and lightweight feel are second to none.

I'm keen to get some but not sure what type of spike to go for,shorts or euros don't think il get longs.what are you guys using?

I found the velcro bottom ones came loose right when you didn't want them to. Switched to the leather straps and feel a lot more secure

Don't get euros they are horrible
