but no figures or facts to back up his claim?

HT/KD pallet grade timber straight from the mill makes great kindling

I am not here to quote you facts and figures that's easily done on google yahoo bing etc by your own research. I am not paid to be a research assistant and if i was you would not be able to afford me. Data is easy to come by ie 30 percent of uk softwood production goes into pallets and packaging with a similar amount imported Source :- Forestry Commission.

getting more enquiries regarding kindling this summer than we did last summer. Still having to compete with people knocking sticks out at £1/bag dont know how, unless their timber is free!

I've a good idea how the timbers free, several timber hauliers & contractors round this area have gone into the firewood game.

No I am actually very laid back and as others appreciate will always try and help out if I possibly can. What really does annoy me is when you give people sound advice on current legislation because you have to comply with it on a daily basis

and they cannot accept that advice because there to idle to do there own research expecting it to be soon fed to them.

you have said kindling made from pallets is illegal, i say that's bollocks :001_rolleyes: you have claimed this before (and been shown the law that says different)

i would like to know why you think the legal advice that i have been is given is wrong

ht pallets are fine for burning, if there is anything nasty they are marked mb, unmarked timber/packing is also ok for burning

if you know different then please say:thumbup1:
