What makes an excellent Climbers ??

 

1) Strength, Stamina

2) Agility

3) Intelligence - safe, logical, commercial perspective etc

4) A natural instinct for the trees, tools, machinery, adaptable to tree/task

5) Professional attitude (?!) :001_smile:

 

What other suggestions do people have ??

Safety

Realizing that the boss is still the boss

being prepred to graft even after they've come down

Oh Being safe

Watching out for the dudes on the deck

Making sure the groundies understand whats going to be going on before going up

NOT making a crows nest @ the bottom of the tree & then sitting in the van

Did I mention safety ?

Knows to work as hard as is possible but being wise enough to realise heroes dont last

knowing that the timber doesnt Know, You think yo'r Ace

Remembering saws Can really upset your day.

working with the crew and the groundie on the ropes

Huge bollocks. Ego to match. Endless supply of rolly's and / or coffee. Tuned up noisy MS200. 'She'll be right Bruce' attitude towards minor damage.
