here is a job i did for the landmark trust.

 

one of their grand houses that was designed by lutyens no less has a skittle alley and i was asked to skim the balls back to a useable sphere.

 

i also sold them one of mine which was a huge 7 1/2" ball i got from ebay.

 

the pic of 6 are theirs, the dark single one was mine and there is a before photo too and a pic of the biggest and smallest then i thought i'd line them up from 7 1/2" down to 4 1/2"

yes, it's the bit we cut off the main trunk on the driveway...

i have not turned the mother bowl yet a these are just the tree from the middle of the nest of four.

i think the mother bowl is around 14" diameter.

 

the trunk is still there to do something with to be honest. not got round to it yet.
