I hope there aren't kids reading some of the advice here and taking it seriously. Using petrol or white spirit to cleanse skin?.... No way!!

 

Maybe the forum moderators could put a minimum age 40cert on those comments....

... which is due to the alcohol content. Vodka would work as well ;)

 

In fact, I find the best, safest, one-step way of effectively removing/dissolving sap is using alcohol (any type: ethanol, isopropyl, methyl). I have a small spray bottle that I spray onto the affected areas, and then rub using a rag or cotton swab.

 

I would NOT rub my skin using petrol or white spirit on a regular basis!

Every man to his own, ive used petrol to remove connie sap for the last 30 years, and I defo wouldn't use vodka , ive a better place for that:laugh1:
