I will have to find an old bike and build him one. Could do logging and exercise at the same time. Would be more productive than paying to ride a bike.

I take it with the limited chain speed it is aimed more at Ex Stihl users than hi revving Husky types?

Being a fixed chain drive I presume a chain brake is not necessary.

Already spotted an element of redundancy in the design there Theo.

It would be good to see it working! I looked on youtube, but all I found was chainsaw powered bicycles. They are equally impressive, though illegal here just like them scooters with 2stroke engines on the back wheel.
