They must be, how do silky get them sharp

Found it. The saws have a mark the is a file above the blade. On this link near the bottom.

It's quite correct that these are the ones which can be sharpened with a file, however you can do the other ones which are normally regarded as non-sharpenable if you have a set of diamond needle files - only really works if they're a bit dull and needing a touch-up, rather than truly blunt.

I sharpen all of mine. I know some have been hardened so they say they can't be sharpened, but the way I see it is if wood can blunt them, then a diamond file can sharpen them. All mine come up mint. I sharpen most of the lads I work for saws and they seem well pleased. It's a big saving not having to spend £25 every time a blade goes dull 😃
