Nice tricky one to ponder over!

Morning all.

Had a call last night saying that this had split and fallen over. I've got to get the last part out of the tree it's leaning against! It's held on by sheer luck I reckon! Theres also 2 more monster beeches that have to come out too! I'm looking for a very competent second climber and a groundsman with tickets for the week starting 24th this month. Looks like fun! Attach winch & pull the butt. Looks like you can tear it apart. Fun & less chance of getting squished!

That would be the first thing I'd try. I do like cutting dodgy stuff tho. Nice change from day to day tree work.

I'd always look to starting from the ground to, weigh up chances of freeing it winching it whatever, harness on last option. Done 2 like this so far this year both occasions had to climb and carefully strip out the crown till I cold finally finish it on the ground, easy just go slow n take it easy.

Wish I could help out.
