Wait till the arb show and see what bargains you can pick up ;). As for suggestions I cannot help alot although, I do know a guy with the new pfanner trousers and he really rates them

It's a shame that no one has discussed this before, and that this didn't show up on the 'Search' facility....

Β

Stretch Airs here, for what it's worth.

More bang for your (hideously highly priced) buck.

its a shame mark that you think i havent read through the countless other posts on the subject. but I like to get the latest info from people out on the ground actually using them day in day out.

Β

and thank you for your vote for stretch airs

Apologies Ian, I appreciate not all threads are relevant as new products come on to the market.

Β

Hiflex are pretty comfy, but not durable as you have found.

Β

Pfanner Stretch Airs have always been good, but traditionally had problems with zips and crotches blowing out.

Β

I recently bought the new arborist C's to replace my 3 1/2 year old pair, and they seem to have reinforced this area.

Β

They are hellish pricey, but cheaper trousers seemed to cost me more by not lasting.

Β

Andy, the Oregon W's are available in type C.

Well, I can recommend the Oregon Ws, had mine about 2.5yesrs, probably done around about 6 months work in that time  due to a slight "lay off". But I'm very pleased with the way they've lasted on tough jobs. Probably a bit cheaper than Stretches, good value for money.
