This is a removal we did last year, the cedar and pine had shed limbs over the years. they were in a busy park, shame to remove them but it was a fun job. lots of thick boards to protect the tarmack and tyres to protect the bins and benches. i turned up and thought whats wrong with rigging, but whos to turn down a job where you can just neck off lumps!! The council had a photographer their all day with a time lapse camera

we did start on the lower limbs on the pine first and use the mewp for the pine. i think youve got your trees mixed up!! so why did i knock off some limbs on the way down the cedar, why not!! it was a pritty one sided tree so theres not a lot for them to get hung up on and it makes the rest of the tree easier to climb around not having branches higher up to change the angle of my line. i didnt use the mewp for the cedar because there were branches and logs going every where, i think it would of taken a lot longer with the platform. and plus then we couldnt of had two trees coming down at the same time.
