Phew! Thanks again for the how to guide. As i say I'm not one for dropping saws on the strop or dragging them up through the crown, I'd rather clip it up close so as you suggested I'll use the original tool clip for the caritool...Ideal!

we have had. The top handel brake on one of our seem a week point on the saw where the handle and carb housing meet Handle broke on starting and jamed throttle on full just a warning the part is only 12 quid so not to bad

 

 

Ours are used on every job pritty much out of the mewp and quite often its the only saw used nice capable saw if used with care

Splendid, cheers for that. Did you fit it yourself? If so, I have all mine off apart from the bit the carb sits in. Got the carb off and other screws out but can't work out how to get that piece off the saw body? Looks like the boot is stopping it?
