was it not the case that if a tree was damaged you had to pay for it and it was say 3or 4 times it value if not more

He's a self employed cutter, and we've given him lots and lots of training and instruction then 30 seconds later he just disregards what you,ve told/shown him and does the same ****.

For £16.50/tonne it should be made clear its your way or the highway. As for felling the Ash when it should be left :001_rolleyes:

I don't do much in the woods but I was taught to stack the lengths next to the ride and mash the brash down on to the ride so that the forwarder can travel over it without pulling off any hydraulic pipes etc . that was a while ago now though

In that case I should turn him into an unemployed cutter.

Sounds like the sort that if you can manage with without him, do without him.

I for 1 no longer have the pashance for people who wont listen and try and learn, inexperience is 1st thing but not giving a **** is anouther!

I would be embarrassed to leave timber stacked in such a fashion & I have met quite a few forwarder driver who would not pick it up.

 

Socks need to be pulled up or new employment found
