the defense of passing it on to the customers is so flawed its a joke andy.

 

they want to increasingly exclude the cowboys, and on the other hand are doing all they can to make it impossible to compete, this is another nail in the coffin to being able to compete with illegitimate contractors

Give me some one with over 5 years of experience to work with, over some over qualified twit with papers any day.

I did a three year ND just a NPTC was setting up (years a go) they said that they would except an ND as qualification for a ticket. When I finished they said stick it only our five minute course counts.

 

They were only after the money how can a three year corse be worth nothing

Thats a myth, IME, I've never been asked for tickets by insurance Co's, not when taking out the cover or when making a claim.

I would say make it 3 but if I have to do anything them im out!

 

Seriously though would be interesting if anyone does do the 5 year reassessment, other than those in LA's etc.

No the rest of us just treat them with the contempt they deserve and ignore them.

I have not read the whole of this thread but i phoned up NPTC a month or so ago and told them i was asked if i had done the refresher on my tickets and i asked if i needed to do a refresher. The girl on the phone said NO you dont need to do a refresher course but certain companies will ask for it. So i didnt do it:001_tt2:
