You going to run radiators off it too or will this be a singular installation, as your place is open plan? 7.5kW is a whopper if you're not going to be plumbing too.

If you can afford the initial outlay, get the most efficient over the best looking. Over the course of the stove's lifetime, fuel may cost you more than than the stove. So it makes sense to convert as much fuel as possible into useable heat. Plus you don't have to empty the ash box quite so often.

Woodwarm make excellent stoves but I have never used a boiler version. I have heard of many good stoves not working anything like as well when fitted with a boiler so my advise would choose carefully a design that the boiler is not an afterthought.

We fitted a Stovax 5 last year and it has been quite satisfactory. Mid-price range, quite good enough. I guess there is a 7kw model. I have since found a good local supplier (the one we actually bought from wasn't great) who was prepared to give us a lot of good advice for free.

+1 for Burley Holywell. Amazing stove... The most efficient stove on the market at the moment!

Pretty much heats the whole of my 3bed bungalow just from the stove
