Hi,me again, i have a timberwolf chipper 150 dhb 2004 that has been running great but every now and then it when i start it up full throttle to chip it dies out immediatly stalling.

then when i start it,it always works fine after the stall, the in-line fuel filter is clean.it seems like the stop switch has been activated but they all seem good and work fine.could it be that the engine needs to tickover for a minute before revving up so the filter doesnt run dry or get air in it or could it be a relay.i know these machines have a very simple system & reliable.

regards

Matt

the fuel tank is always kept from getting to low,it may have crud in it but the kubuta runs like a jem 99%.the clear in-line filter never seems to have much diesel in it even when running flat out.like i say it only happens when i start it and rev up top end straight away.i used these chippers for years with norwich city council when entec first brought them out and never had one do this.it has done over 800 hours tho !! duh !!
