which 2stroke oil do you chaps use?

Hi all,

I've used, stihl red oil, stihl hp oil, rock oil, total from mvf oil, husk oil, even some Fuchs Moto x oil in my old 024, ( all these oils have been used by people im subbing for)

 

I'm currently using husk oil and have been for about a year.

 

Is there really much difference to warrant paying the extra beween

stihl red vs stihl green for example

 

Any answers on which oil you use and where you get it from would be cool,,

As for chain oil.

For what it worth I use husky or stihl oil as far as chain oil I don't like the bio stuff just found I went thru more of it.........but I'm an old fart lol guess I should think bout it more

Used to use the husky XP oil but for years now iv been using my dealers " own " brand ( DM Chainsaws of Walberton West Sussex ) and nwever had a problem .

Been on stihl green oil for a bit now. Runs much better in the 4mix engines. Less fumes and happy lungs!

i use sthil oil £48 for 10L

good on 4 mix no carbon build up on valves

bought in 5lt but measured out into 100ml pots for the boys to use so no mistakes

ok, I've got no 4 mix engines, but is stihl hp really the best ?

Ive found that stihl green is healthier when using topping saw or hedgetrimmer on still air days. So now use it all the time in everything with a 2 stroke engine.
