Nice one mate, those jobs are always fun. Did you get that little twig that ziplines down a wire just where its a pain to reach?

Haha, was waiting for that all morning - poles at the ready and everything, but 'little twig' didnt materialize.

Was tempted to tie a pair of trainers together and throw them up there though.

Ha Ha, that reminds me of a job we did the other day, Andrew was climbing and took of his sweater and chucked it down.. onto a phone line, took ages to retreive.

Lovely job on the willow, John. And great photos too - especially the B&W ones. I think the second B&W image could grace an album cover or Arb mag - you know - with the space left in the top left for the publication's title? Keep it coming.

Those were taken on a 4 year old Nikia phone as well. :001_smile:

I thought they were recorded on something fancier and had then been adjusted on Photoshop! All the more credit for 'seeing' the image.

This was a little Oak we worked on today. L/A owned lapsed pollard. This is my 3rd visit to this particular tree, each time crown-raising. I’ve taken it a little higher this time (under instruction from the T/O), it’s a lovely tree and very healthy – all things considered.

The pruning wound it 2 years old – Check out the lovely callusing. :001_smile:
