He's back! Impressive riding by all but The Doctor was sheer class. Crutchlow's inexperience showed but hopefully he'll improve.

Glad marquez was in there chucking it about, rossi was flying, but for me it was just a case of same old same old.

Wow bike overload, spent allday at Brands at the BSB & then had to watch GP at night, looks like we will have a more exciting GP this year. Hard luck Cal as he is a contender this year & hard luck Bradley, not a bad start for a rookie.

When the doctor slowly reeled them in shows he has still got it . Reminded me of that race where he had a ride through and was 20sec or so behind the last man and went on to win it .

A bit of reality.

 

Firstly, there are four potential race winning bikes, two factory Yamahas and two factory Hondas. One of the Hondas is being ridden by a class rookie and no matter how good the rookie, or how good the bike, it's acknowledged that they need a season to fully get to grips with things. The other Honda is then Pedrosa, and Pedrosa will do what he's always done, be stunning and untouchable every now and again and be quite average the rest of the time. So second for Rossi on a fairly regular basis is pretty much a given, if he wants to impress properly and live up to what he's supposed to be then he needs to beat Lorenzo, and if he beats Lorenzo this year then I reckon he'll be world champion.

 

After the first race Lorenzo looks awesome.

 

And yes, Stoner on track is seriously missed. The powers that be should never have let him retire, but then they were too obsessed with Rossi and Marquess.

If Rossi hadn't made that mistake at the start then I reckon he'd have been giving Lorenzo a run..assuming there's no team orders.

Think i agree, but of course the only think that really matters is the order they cross the line.

Accept pretty much all you say . especially

the Pedrosa bit . I do think however that Marquez might prove you wrong in the " he needs a whole season " but maybe . Lorenzo as rightly say was awesome .. smooth as a cashmere cod piece . One other thing that I am sure you know but did not mention is that some tracks suit the Yam and some the big H . This it seemed to me was a Yamaha circuit . It may be a different story when its a Honda track ... Next one maybe ?

I like Marquez in there spicing things up, reminds me of the great no 58 Sic, if he wins he will be a hero, if he fetches someone off the paddock will hate him.
