Ok. Done it honestly and really wish I hadn't......

Precariat

This is the poorest and most deprived class group. According to the Great British Class Survey results, lots of people in this group:

Tend to mix socially with people like themselves

Come from a working class background

Rent their home - over 80%

Oh dear.......

So there you go, definitive proof that money buys class in 21st century Britain? :001_huh:

Emergent service worker - does that mean I'm nearly at the surface of the gloop or I've just got out of the private swimming pool? (Mind if we're talking top level health spa, it could be both at the same time.)

Always considered myself to be 'working class' and proud of it. If it weren't for the hoi polloi, the aristos wouldn't have their standing. I am, we are, the foundation & pillars of society. Without us, all would fall, (or emigrate).

Emergent service workers

This class group is financially insecure, scoring low for savings and house value, but high for social and cultural factors. According to the Great British Class Survey results, lots of people in this group:

Are young

Enjoy a cultured social life

Rent their home - almost 90%

Poor but happy, I think.
