Well done MisterTEE, good find! The pub is 5.5KM from the show ground. I wonder if there is one closer?

 

That,ll do, I,ll drive the tranny with two settee,s on the back with ratchet strap seat belts across youre laps, that we we can get nine people ferry,d to the show ground :laugh:

There is another pub, my old local, that might be a fraction closer, but only liek 1km closer if that. They don't officially do camping so I doubt they would have you lot. Some of the exhibitors stay there on the saturday night after they have packed-up as its often late then for trying to get home.

I am investigating another alternative - awaiting an answer from the land owner at the moment. Otherwise the pub looks good I reckon. How about all those that want to camp say so here and in a week or so I will ring the pub and book some pitches?

A guy I know and have done some work for who owns one of the lakes near Pool Keynes. It is a great spot but he has some pretty exclusive holiday homes there so may not want a load of arbs ruining the peace for his guests!
