Yes I was thinking RSI or something similar! I have used a cambium saver a few times, but the problem was still there! It is only in one arm, mainly my pulling arm which is my right, so lke suggested I am swap over for a bit, hopefully it will just be that my arms haven't got the required muscles yet so it's putting strain on other places! I will have a look at the compression tops didn't give them a thought! I am also going to start stretching out before climbs and trying some deep heat, thanks for the advice everyone!

Pantin and a closed hitch with a pulley on cambium saver is probably the cheapest way to make climbing easier on your arms. When you do hold your weight on one arm and tend slack you can easily alternate arms. :) Saves spending loads on a spiderjack/zig zag and ropeguide/pulleysaver.

did a day reducing some little trees around ten meters, it was wet and dirty work so i thought id hang up my rope guide and hitch climber for a prussic and ring c/s........ great to get back to how i learnt but it really was average and inside my elbow had a strange pain i also threw my back out:confused1: (getting soft maybe) ..... conclusion, prussic is good for about year to learn the basics ,because you wont be setting any speed records.build up your climbing strength i but id recommend swapping over to a hitch and pulley combo in the future

I used to to get it in my elbows, although it took 6-7 yrs to come out. The system i use now is hand over hand and it seems to have sorted it right out!

Best advice posted, the Prussic for me is ok for small quick climbs but after that and its killing my elbows. Just not elbow friendly at all. Hand over hand method eliminated everything.
