I have had these boots for years, i find if i wear ski socks i get cold feet, again i guess they make my feet too snug and therefore they get cold. But..... if i have a thinner pair of good socks my feet get toasty, its an oddity but it works. I even have the insulated tongue out as well!

These boots are advertised as having the built in pumping mechanism to keep air circulating and your feet day. So it wouldn't surprise me if they were a bit colder in winter than normal chainsaw boots.

Hi sps, have you tried protector pro's, comfy and without cold feet

Hi Marc thanks for the heads up may well be worth a shout when the time comes to replace them:thumbup1:

I've got a pair of the airstreams and I also suffer with the same cold feet problem. I think I will get a different pair of boots for the winter

the meindl boots are designed for a hug fit, twoissues caused, restricting circulation, and no air layer.

binned mine after only a month or two

As Tony said. Meindles are apparently a tight fit which will reduce circulation if you have wide feet. I don't have a problem with them personally but I do get a cold right foot in other boots due to my sciatic nerve welded to my hamstring.....apparently, so I pretty much wear my Meindles all year round.

Agree or disagree a vest works for me

Fingers and toes are sacrificial and at the extremities

Your body works hard to keep your core and vital organs at the correct temp to survive

If you don't wear enough layers to keep your body warm your extremities will be sacrificed

Wear a vest ..... It will keep your feet warm !!!!!!!
