Admittedly this is cheating a little, top of a MEWP looking out from Erith over the water to essex. Have had nicer views elsewhere but didn't have the camera with me :001_rolleyes:

Always get good views and sense of distance in BC. And on the Sannich peninsular where most of my work is, you have ocean on 3 sides.

 

The last 2 shots are at Cowichan Lake. Kim is the climber in view. He's 53, has a big ole gut on him, and he's at about 140ft there. Real bloke!
