Admittedly this is cheating a little, top of a MEWP looking out from Erith over the water to essex. Have had nicer views elsewhere but didn't have the camera with me

Always get good views and sense of distance in BC. And on the Sannich peninsular where most of my work is, you have ocean on 3 sides.

 

The last 2 shots are at Cowichan Lake. Kim is the climber in view. He's 53, has a big ole gut on him, and he's at about 140ft there. Real bloke!
