Your hauling waste so you can forget Agri registering for a start. HGV is the way to go for sure.

But if you do that you can't use red or put a kid with nowt more than a tractor licence behind the wheel.

It would mean playing by the rules that lesser mortals that don't wing it in a mog have to follow.

You would be into operators and waste licensing, drivers hours records, medicals and all kinds of other law abiding things like MOT and inspections.

Public safety can be such a burden on the urban forester you know.

heres an idea

Mogs are cool but a mega grey area all round,

As stated previous, get one lorry (8wheeler) hook loader with hiab.

Mate runs two of them for groundwork. Slightly shorter skip rigs to accommodate hiab behind cab so you loose abit of room having shorter skips.

have 2 or 3 skips, high sided for chip, lower sides for lifting timber into etc.

Not quite certain as to the 'grey area' there does seem to be a lot of moving goal post to fit the uses of it!... Grey does not feature with Vosa, who I think is not beyond reading the antics of what 'we' own upto on forums.

Ps; I do agree with you, just get a double-drive, cement mixer & tipper use them off road with great success.

It's only grey if you are low on ink when you are printing the rules and regulations

hey im a hay shaking carrot crunching argi underneath but even I am now maturing to the currently endless new legislations blah blah blah

we operate in the sticks so could probably run a mog indefiantly on red with no o license carting whatever we wanted and probably never get caught but I now worry about the "what if" ?

it only takes one incident these days to open a huge can of horrible worms for you :(

My opinion is this chap in the OP sounds like he will be running around in built up areas where theres more chance of incidents being pulled blah blah :001_rolleyes::lol::lol:
