This should be a funny thread.

The other day my 7yr old said "Daddy, just quit your job so you can stay home and play with toys. That way you won't be as worn out"

They are priceless aren't they.

Few months back our boiler packed in on one of the coldest weekends of the year. House was freezing so I put in my berghaus leggings. When the boiler man finally turned up my little girl came running to the door and said 'my daddies wearing tights'

My 3 year old niece was walking along a busy train carriage ahead of my sister, looking for a seat. Upon seeing a man wearing an eye patch she turned to my sister and shouted 'There's a pirate on this train mummy!'. Nobody laughed.

Was late one morning and rushing around to get my work stuff together and leave. Little one was sat eating cereal in her highchair at the time and saw that I didn't eat any breakfast, my work jacket was on the back of the chair so she put the rest of her cereal into my pocket so I could take it with me. Milk and all!!

Hard to be mad when it was done with such good intentions, but AAAHHHH!!

I was walking with my daughter in Rendlesham forest, she was around five. As we approached an area that I knew Muntjac frequented I said to her, "Keep really quiet, if we're really quiet we might see a deer, you never know your luck"

We were quiet and sure enough we had a good minute or so of watching a Muntjac go about his business. She turned to me and said very quietly-

"I know my luck now Daddy"

Still makes me well up to think about it...
