Does anyone use headsets ?

Just a quickie ,

We are debating at work at the moment whether to invest in a pair of microphone headsets for better communication during work ,

I used a pair at the APF and thought they wer great ,

Does anyone use them and would like to share there opinion.

Which did you try the stein push to talks or the arborcoms? I've only ever tried them out at shows too, thought they seemed great just need to save some pennies!!

Hi,

We use them for crane work, climber and groundie have ear piece and the crane driver just has a Walkie talky on the same channel in his cab.

Cost a few quid but well worth it, useful when carrying out a normal dismantle near a busy road etc

I use the Sena bluetooth motorcycle headset, mostly for phone calls although it does work as intercom too.

i like the idea of them although havent had the chance to try them for myself but something someone else said they used it for was with a newbie having a headset with no microphone and you can speak to them while they had the ear defenders on. again ive never tried them but the idea seemed like a good one

Use them when i climb for another company, Make you look a lot more pro then shouting all the time to people up the tree. Sound quality is good and range is ok, Ive only used the stien ones so carn't comment on any others. If they where a little cheaper i would be buying a set.
