Very accurate chain sharpener

Before you all get arsey about this I have done it in the past and when done with care it is acceptable.

I was forced into this by a shrapnel ridden lump of timber that had to be extracted through a pedestrian doorway

I wouldn’t use it as a daily event but I wouldn’t dismiss it out of hand either.

Don't get me wrong, I guess in a "its this or re-file my chain 10 times" type situation then cool, gets you out of trouble!

That would have been my first comment.

A wee cordless 4 & a 1/2" would have been more suitable.

However, and preversely, I also reckon that if I attempted this technique, it would take me longer, than filing, due to the extra care and time I would take.

But essentially this is no different than the 12V rotary chainsaw sharpener that is used by some professionals:001_tt2: on here, if I recall correctly.

I also blenched at the full-on thumb testing of the edge of the presumably still plugged in angle grinder.

That said I reckoned he was quite handy with the grinder.
