Why that percentage? I thought 50/50 was the medicinal tincture...

No thc will get you high it's the cbd that has the protential most there's plants coming on to the market that will produce 22%cbd with a trace of thc. If u want to go down that route pm me I'll put you in touch with people that will help you and it's not about the money

Sorry to hear that dude, what I've learnt again recently is to appreciate the little things & be happy with the cards you've been dealt, sweet f. a we can do about it.

I'm refusing all pharmaceuticals atm, unless it means surgery but I'm still waiting for a firm diagnosis...

Strangely this started when I gave up smoking too!?!

That's a tough call .. if you have ME I know what's ahead and I'm afraid there is nothing good to say about this illness , I should know , i had it for 5 years and it's physically and mentally devastating.

I read statistics saying only 10% of people recover , just make sure you are in that 10% like I did . As hard a battle as it is I came out the other side a bigger person physically and mentally .

Borntotrot after doing some reading upon chronic fatigue i did see there was a connection to ME but hoping things dont go that way,

INTHEWOODS, there is a connection with people stopping smoking, the cigeretts act as an imuno suppresent and can mask symptons, then a few months after things seem to happen , I knew a a few years before giving up that something wasnt rite with me but put alot of it down to eating lots of fruit trying to keep energy levels up , good luck to you

You have my deepest sympathy, having had chemo for the last six months months I appreciate the side affects.

All I can suggest is take heed of your body, don't try to over exert yourself- you'll pay for it later, rest when you need to. The affects pass, but maybe not as soon as you think they will.

I wish you luck.

Wife has uc. Utterly grim on flare-ups. On prednisone, mercaptopurin and god knows what else. Doesn't seem any different to when she wasn't on those drugs. She's been offered another treatment which she isn't keen on until she's popped another kid out. Think it's a biological drug??

Severely damaged my digestive system from food poisoning (Campylobacter) about 6 years ago. 2 other repeated infections of Campylobacter and lots of antibiotics to get rid of pneumonia a couple of years after initial infection completely and utterly destroyed my entire health.

It's been a long road to recovery and nowhere near back to full health but I have learnt tonnes along the way. My single biggest contributor, against all the 'drugs' I've been described, is a natural fermented drink called Kefir. Nothing has come close to repairing the damage that was done than to kefir, it is completely natural incredibly easy to make and I HIGHLY recommend reading up on it if you have digestive issues.

In second place I would consider bone broth. Again obscenely easy to make and an awesome natural digestive healer.

The only man made thing that has given me any relief and helped (really great for bad flair ups) is a course of VSL probiotics. Very expensive but can sort out flair ups for me in about 24hours. 2 sachets a day for first week to get back on top of things then a sachet a day for however long you want to do it.

Also antibiotics should be seen as a last resort! Yes they are fantastic and life saving some times, but they kill ALL bacteria! Not just the bad! They decimate the good bacteria in the gut which is the very first form of defence in our bodies and is crucial to every single aspect of everybody's life's!

  • 4 weeks later...

Haven't been on for a long time... Cannabis oil is the way forward for me, I've been back climbing, landscaping and coppicing for 2 years now. you need t.h.c. in your oil not just high cbd. if you are worried about getting stoned then use suppositories you wont feel a thing on the stoned front. off all Pharma meds which were harsh and I've been discharged from my gastro consultants care, which is very rare, he cant work it out!! but he knows exactly what I have been doing.
