If my yard was better and i had grandfather rights i'd deffinetly leave the 3.5t threshold! Think i'd have a good 4-5 k outlay for license etc before buying a wagon. Will see.

Your doing the right thing i would say!

Last time a couple of wagons were there they got diesel knicked and all tractors drained of fuel.

Need a better yard to be fair

Not arb but couldn't resist getting the wife to take a pic whilst we were heading up the m1 today, full of people, luggage and the bike to finish, the tow bar was literally an inch above the tarmac!

I've got one of those racks and on the right vehicle they are OK, but definitely wouldn't want one on the back of anything car derived, even if it wasn't overweight, I'm amazed they don't just peel off with all that leverage.

I used to run mine on an old 90 and you'd hardly know it was there, I tried it on my current Delica and it wasn't clever.

Think my double cab transit tipper weighs around 2.5 ton with just the saws and blower in etc, it would be hard graft trying to keep it within the law, if I had a license for it I,d rather use a 7.5 ton truck
