New Meindl boots

And a lot of people eat McDonald’s but that sure don’t make it good food !!!!

I wouldn’t wear them if I was paid an extra £50 a day.....I found them borderline dangerous .
But as you say, horses for courses and we are all different ......but I am simply baffled with 20 years climbing past me that people can find these boots grippy ??? Comfort I accept is relative to the end user .
Grip is definitely non existent with these boots. I've personally only couple of years experience but I've had better grip with walking boots on limbs that are wet or moss covered.

Has anyone much experience with these?? I heard the scafell lite soles fall off quickly. 177dc4d9a619c74a44dc4c2840a97227.jpg

I had a pair of the scarfell lite so slightly different to the ones in the pic.

A good boot for me, held together well, waterproof and comfy.

However the so called vibration sole wore down to slicks in less than 6 months. Don't know whether a cheaper or softer rubber was used but I have plenty of other boots, years old with vibram soles and no where near the wear.

Cheers Jim.

That's why I like this site. Plenty of new things to learn.
