Needless to say im guessing there isnt going to be a show in Scotland this year But im just wondering what shows are on and when? Just so i can try and get a few of us together to travel down.

Is there no Celebration of Trees show at Capel Manor this year? Not that I would bother with that one any more - unless the Arbtalk axe throwing will be there.

Following the Arbfair North back in 2011 the plan was every other year meaning there should of been one this year. However following our move of premises we could not find the time nor expense to sort one this time around. Maybe in future though, sorry

 

We will hopefully be sorting another northern climbing comp alongside 3ATC which might incorporate a few workshops, demonstrations etc. No further info on that as yet though

Probably because no one goes to them! It costs a lot of money and a good deal of stress i'd imagine putting a decent show together. Gustharts did a fine job a couple of years ago putting on their first show, but the attendance was relatively considering all the complaints I read on here about there being 'nothing up north'. In fact I spoke to one guy at that show who was complaining it was too far south and there was nothing up north
