660 is an amazing saw & has the best power to weight ratio of any commercial saw at the moment. Looking forward to seeing what Stihl have done with is. The 441 is a great success - hope it follows suit

used plenty and like them, was to replace an older 064, come to the decision its false economy buying second hand. good saw. glad i got one before they changed over!

441 is a good saw. its only because dick will push selling the 460 because its tried and tested.

 

you bought a 201t new technology. dont be afraid of the 441 :001_smile:

I seem to recall you said the 201 was too "plasticy".

Outcuts a 440 & has better AV set-up. However does not feel as aggressive. Different saw to the 460/461 which was developed to fill a slightly different niche

haha maybe i did maybe i didnt... still went and got one.

I've never used one, just remember some people saying the fall apart.

 

My 66 was new in 1999, its was my only large saw for many years, its not used that much these days, but is still in perfect working order and its have very little spent on it over the years.

 

These new saws may run OK, but how hard wearing are they?

 

Not such a big problem with small saws, but big saws work hard, get hot etc.
