Steve, I am sat with the technological Luddite at his house. Site on the iPhone is lightening but Mick's pc is well slow. Done a disc cleanup and it defragged last night.

 

Still really slow but eBay and the beeb are normal.

 

Hopes this helps and it easier and quicker to tap it out on here.

 

Using Iphone on WIFI Rich?

 

Have you tried switching the modem off then back on? Sounds daft but can solve some slow down problems.

i use avg not having any problems. but norton is a mare. will not use it causes so many problems. hence i got rid of it Microsoft is fine but peace of mind i use avg. and antimalware. and adblock but disabled for this site or would hang.
