Hi there.

As per the above, I'm looking to build my stacks up for the next few years and getting well ahead so each year I only have to build up a years stack for use a few years down the line.

I'm well aware any well seasoned dry wood burns, so therefore, is the above deal a 'good one', effectively £15m c/m cut and ready to be split. I'm perfectly happy to split and actually enjoy it on a weekend! Thoughts?

Sounds a very good deal. Buy it all at that price before someone else does.

Also non split is better in some ways as you get more wood volume & less air gaps most likely.

I assume you are looking to buy at this price and are asking advice on the wisdom of such. If alternately you are looking to sell I would also be interested in some depending on how far away you are.

Apologies for any mis-communication, yes, I'm looking to buy at this price!

Seller describes as 'fill a back of a transit van or a level load of a transit tipper.... approx 4cm?!

I may be all wrong, but I reckon a transit tipper will be nearer to 2.5m3

I would go and have a look at the timber and his van, measure the volume of the cargo area and there you are. Transits used to have a max cargo weight of 35 cwt, ie 1.75 tons, thats maybe 3 cube tops.
