I would love to know how it works for you, I am getting fed up with my stien lid, always catching stuff, got ear defenders caught in a phone line last week while conni topping, nearly broke my neck!

A Petzl Vertex measures about the same externally as the Protos.

The difference being the Protos is measured across the helmet, the Petzl is measured across the ear muffs.

Nice one chap! It looks sounds doesn't it, I like the way everything's flush, can see a real advantage to that.

 

You look totally different to the way I had in my minds eye, no grey hair and big bushy tash.......I think it was the old in your user name haha!

:001_smile:Ok so I've adjusted it properly and it now sits lower on my head. It was on the highest setting.

 

I've also measured it because loads of people say it looks to big and will get snagged on branches.

The Petzl Vertex Vent with Husqvarna muffs is 27cm wide when on the head with muffs in.

The Protos is 32cm wide.

:thumbdown:i thought the protos was just for ground use, as advertised on honey bros and fr jones? is there one specifically for climbing in, or are you just going to be naughty
