Nice one Paul. I need pics of the lights with Hatton cross station on your left hand side. The pics need to be taken when the lights are at green.

Lets see if the power of Arbtalk can work some magic on this situation! :001_smile:

Steve, from what the solicitor told me it does not matter if i committed the offence or not. If the ticket says there was a straight on arrow (which it does) but the sign is a no left turn which i think it was the the ticket will be void.

As for the google street view thing it looks like the signs have been changed at some point. check out these pics. If you notice when the hoardings are around the X2 buildings the signs are straight on arrows but when the hoardings have been removed its a no right turn sign.

there is a white arrow on blue background on the traffic light (just beneath green light) eggs. dont know if you've noticed that one or not, its not immediately obvious. Good luck mate

Yep seen it Marc, but in the second pic (after the hoarding is removed) it's a no right turn sign on the first sign, i can't make out what is on the furthest away traffic light on google street view!

  • 1 year later...

I once turned left in a 6 wheeler tipper at scarborough right outside cop shop and was heading the way down a one way street.

Quick 3 point turn and got away with it. It was clearly signed but I was looking for a delivery address street. Not interested in all the other urban clutter.
