i found a nice one on ebay, but i had to go to doncaster to fetch it, you could also try farm sales, especially arable farms as they tend to use conveyors for a lot more stuff.

I treated myself to a wee 5.0m Krpan one from Marshall Agri Engineering.

I fancied an old Fisons fertilizer or Potatoe evevator but not to be had locally nor at a sensible price.

PS

the brother trashed a perfectably servicable Lely bale evelator that would have been perfect for my billits or 500mm lengths.

Dozed it into a corner after 25 years of dry barn storage.

the hardwood slats were still perfect, though the engine was knackered.

It adds time and calorific input, head needs to swivel more, back takes the punishment. A bit of WD I'm afraid.

 

I must admit that the thought of an elevator is becomming more apealing as i get older.

About 2,000.00 + VAT, a slight difference between electric or hyd drive but very little.

I got mine a bit keener along with a PTO saw, and sommat else?????, :blushing:bloody hell a proper Senior moment ongoing here.
